Mordred. He is murder incarnate, death that walks the battlefield. He is so feared that his name is never spoken, instead he is oft mentioned as the Black Knight, the Reaper, Soulstealer, among many others. Because of this, Rasia, Princess of the Holy Empire of Pontus, made him her personal servant, her very own tool of destruction, as well as shield to all those who would dare do her harm.
Very little is known about the man, where he comes from, how he learned to fight the way he does. Some say he’s a swordsman from the barbarous wastes, spurned by Pontus’s attacks, only to be defeated and forced into eternal servitude by the princess. Others insist that he’s the mortal form of Tor, an agent of the underworld god, sent to punish mankind for their sins. What little truth can be gleaned is that he was in the service of the Pontesian army, a grunt that survived the front lines against barbarians and monsters alike. It was during a night raid that his platoon was killed to a man and in retaliation he tore apart his attacker with his bare hands. The brutality that followed caught the eye of the princess, who favored such ruthless strength above all. Mordred found himself in her court days later, appointed as her aide, her bodyguard and personal assassin.
Beyond grateful for this chance to continue killing, Mordred pledged himself body and soul to the princess. His loyalty is unshakable. Rumors believe that they live a secret life together, behind closed doors away from officials and prying eyes. Such a thing is believed true; only a true monster could love a murderous beast like himself.

Welp, I lied, gonna still do artwork for it rather than write it out. At least I better understand where each character is goings to be coming from now.
Inspirations from Fire Emblem, Game of Thrones, etc, all that stuff you know.
^_^ I really like this, you have a very neat style, and I hope to draw as well as you one day~ I realize I added this to my favs for Arthurian legends, but I feel like it kind of fits with my other things there~
