I love the Contemptor Dreads [link] They so wicked awesome. Its like their version of Terminator armour if the ring near the back of the head didn't give that away XD

And now for background fluff time!:

Venerable Brother Xerxes served the Imperial Fists with distinction and was confined to a sarcophagus long before becoming one of the cornerstones of the newly founded Eternal Legion. With his deep seated wisdom and terrifying combat prowess, Xerxes aided every Lord Consul that led the Chapter since its founding and continues to do so with perpetual vigor.

As Chief Librarian at the time, it was Xerxes duty to mold initiates that were to become the Chapter's psykers. Lucius Azazer and Gregor Antonia, were both students of his at one time. He was wounded deeply when he discovered Antonia had fallen to Chaos, becoming the dreaded Sorcerer Lord Calzabath. Xerxes stepped down as Chief Librarian as self-penance for this, being replaced by his more successful student.

Xerxes now throws himself into the fray against any follower of Chaos with verdant fury and indignation. With him he carries a relic force axe, Atonement, and a dreadnought power fist, Left Hand of Fate, which have both served him well for centuries.

I learned a couple new tricks when doing this, namely creating gothic architecture and making my own rain brush Hopefully its not too dark, those of you with darker monitors might lose some of the ruins in the back. Most of the detail in on Xerxes anyway.

I'm pretty sure he enjoys surfing too XD
