Lucius Azazer

Lucius Azazer is the Lore Master (Chief Librarian) of the Eternal Legion. Once the pupil of the renowned Librarian Xerxes, Azazer took that office after his master stepped down to hunt his other ex-pupil, the traitorous Gregor Antonia. He is a silent, cautious man, preparing for a foreboding future where he will have to fight his former brother.

Azazer is equipped with his master's terminator armour, the Exalted Ancile, along with two force guantlets, both relics of the Horus Heresy. These relic powerfists are said to be the only devices capable of wielding the titanic Tome Blade, a weapon that has been soaked in the blood of mortal and daemon alike. It is Azazer's duty to guard and maintain these precious relics and to use them when all hope seems to be lost.

The Eternal Legion does not field many psykers, as a peculiar mutation in their geneseed sees them wither and die an excruciatingly painful death. Some that stay alive but are too physically weak to fight are interred into Dreadnaught armour or extensively assisted by bionics. Those that are fortunate to pass a certain stage in their training become some of the finest psykers the Adeptus Astartes have to offer. Aside from their psychic hoods, they are easily distinguished from their brothers by their golden masks.
