Lunar Mechanicultist

Deep in the bowels of the vast cities of the Xasheen homeworld, the homeless, the scavengers and the insane flock together until the neon lights of an evangelist from the moons. These dark priests gather these dissidents together, preform ritual cybernetic surgery and inter them into their cults for their own devious ends. Half-mad from improper cyberization, but extremely loyal to their master, the Cultists go forth to spread his word. Or commit acts of terrorism.

Unlike the True Lunarists, who seek peace and prosperity for all, the Lunar Cultists twist the teachings and shun devotion to Kazar and Dalim. Rather, they serve Lolon, the Ancient Machine that dwells simultaneously on the two moons above Xashon Prime, in vile and aggressive manner. Currently, their numbers are small, but they are growing, which is of great concern to the Lunarists and to the Consortium.

Weapons they use are archaic at best. Some are scrapped pieces of old technology fused together to form powerful, if not dangerous, projectile and energy guns. Others are inventions. Such weapons cannot be used by others, since it requires a specific cybernetic connection to function and are triggered by the brain. Most weapons are fused directly onto the cultist, but others are carried by hand and connected via power cords.
