Description

    The Balero answer to the success of the Hayabusa, the Defender is a compact, somewhat spindly machine designed for urban combat operations. Though less common than the Stronbo, it can be fielded even more cheaply and in great numbers, making them popular with minor corp security. The Defender’s systems are geared towards fighting squads and vehicles, common targets in urban environments, while its companion Stronbos engage enemy ACEs.

    Though cheap and effective, the Defender is somewhat less common in mercenary service due to its urban-combat specialization, which makes it less appealing than the generalist Hayabusa. It is also not especially fast for a light ACE.
