Protectors of the Unification by Blazbaros Protectors of the Unification by Blazbaros
Another picture for the #LegacyVerse, of the members of the Unification :D that is, the alliance between the Risen, the Spaari, the Juntians and the Xasheen (along with their little lemur buddies that still need a bio).

Hopefully the darkness doesn't wreck too much of the detail, I wanted to try something new with lighting. I think the Spaari turned out the best.

Races and such belong to their respective owners.

It might be interesting to experiment with putting a light source behind them and playing around with the intense shadows that would form on the front of the characters. That way their silhouettes could be read easier and there would be some slight color in the background, while still keeping an overall dark feel to the piece. It might also be fun to incorporate lights in their armor, if nothing else, for aesthetic appeal.

Those are just suggestions though. Its a nice piece.

though i do agree that the darkness does mess with some of the detail, its that very darkness that provides it with a threatening feel(lets face it you wouldn't wanna face these guys in a dark alley would you?) that cant be reproduced in bright lighting.

cant help but notice that the Xasheen armor is the one you used from that dune reference, is it going to be their standard uniform from now on?

also where did you get the get up for the Aspaari?(is that what the insect was called?) it looks like a jet pilot helmet but with a bad ass feel to to the insectness

you have done a splendid piece.

Yeah, I like the way the armour is, so that's how its gonna be =p

The Spaari were created by ~rcs619, he gave me a few ideas to play with.

Thanks :D

Well, a psychic stingray/shark thing in a power-suit. Person tends to apply a humanoid shape, at least most people interpret it that way.

That's a Risen, essentially a fish person inside a powersuit

What a great dress up for Halloween! ... Albeit a bit late. Also, nice self portrait in the lower right corner there. A little blue, maybe, but I definitely see the resemblance. Nice ears, by the way.
