The Risen are an aquatic species created by ~rcs619 for the #LegacyVerse. It allows them to fight on land and turns a single risen into a heavily armed, walking weapons platform. The one seen above is carrying a chin mounted shockwave gun, two plasma casters mounted on tentacle arms and four close combat tentacles armed with shot range beam weapons for backup.

With their six eyes, the Risen can keep track on multiple viewing screens at once, connected to cameras on the head and tail on the suit. They can fight in either direction making attacks from the rear futile.

That's one fish you do not want to catch. Good work on the aquatic armor (you do seem to like drawing armor of all sorts!). And it does have an aquatic feel, even without reading the description that's what I assumed it would be. :thumbsup:

Yeah, Im more of a writer than an artist. I just doodle and sketch to help visualize ideas. That's why getting Blaz to help on the powersuit was awesome. He's good at doing power-armor anyways, with all the 40k art he does.

It should be noted that their appearance will change slightly from Blaz's concept drawing of them. Mainly that the wings will be shortened a bit, and the neck elongated. It'll give them a sleeker look, and make them fitting into suits like this more plausible.

I really should post up their species bio, since the Legacy forum got deactivated for now.
